Chocolate Avocado Pudding


Ingredients:


2 ripe Avocados

1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/2 cup Honey or Maple Syrup

2 tbsp Almond Milk

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Salt

Fresh Berries or Shredded Coconut (optional)



Directions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit and skin.

  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado flesh, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.

  4. Spoon the pudding into small cups or ramekins.

  5. Cover the surface with plastic wrap and chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  6. When ready to serve, garnish with fresh berries or shredded coconut (if desired).


This chocolate pudding recipe is a healthy alternative to traditional pudding as it uses avocado as a base instead of heavy cream, providing healthy fats and protein. The cocoa powder gives it a rich chocolate flavour and honey or maple syrup provides the perfect sweetness. You can also use vanilla extract, mint extract or even a little bit of coffee to give the pudding different and unique flavours.
